On Sunday 26th April Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League organised a gathering at the local mosque. The sisters named the event 'Falsafa Miraaj-ul-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم‎' because we have entered The Holy month of Rajab and were also teaching from this book written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir Ul Qadri in Urdu. On the day our stage secretary was sister Shamila and sister Nabila Bibi. We started off with Tilawat which was recited by sister Aamina. A couple of Nasheeds were recited by a couple of the attendees.

Sister Sadia Bibi Sandwell Minhaj Womens league was then introduced who gave a beautiful speech relating to the month of Rajab and Miraaj-ul-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ , followed by a quiz which took place after we had played Shaykh-ul-Islams Dr Tahir Ul Qadri's CD called 'Miraaj aur Hazoor صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ki shaan-e-abdiyat wa nooraniyat', the ladies who listened attentively and gave the right answer received a DVD as a prize.

A few more attendees recited Nasheeds, then sister Fardos Shahid Minhaj Youth League President of Birmingham also took part by giving the youth a talk about the importance of having a connection with The Best of Creation صلى الله عليه وسلم‎  and reciting Salutations (Durood Shareef) on The Holy Prophet  صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ in abundance. This gathering brought in at least 50 ladies from the local area.

We finished with prayers and food was given to attendees.
