MQI Nottingham celebrates 63rd birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam

On the 19 February 2014 Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women’s League Nottingham organised a gathering in which guests were called and the members of Minhaj-ul-Quran attended to celebrate the birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

The gathering started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by some Naats and a speech about the life of Shaykh-ul-Islam which was given by Brother Tanveer Pasha, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham.

A speech regarding the mission of Shaykh-ul-Islam and his work was given by Brother Fazil Hussain, General Secretary of Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham.

A total number of 50 people attended including sisters.

The programme ended with a Dua done by the Head Imam of Masjid Ash-Shifa Nottingham Qari Sadaat Ahmed Sahib and prayed for the long life of Shaykh-ul-Islam.

The programme ended by cutting 2 cakes (brothers & sisters) along with other refreshments.
