On the 10th September 2017 a monthly program combined with Eid celebrations was held at the Minhaj Ul Quran Center by Alum Rock Birmingham Women League, with the Will of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of the prophet PBUH.
This program was hosted by Sister Shazia Parveen MWL (General Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) who invited young Aleeza to bless this program with the recitation from the holy Quran. This program was mainly for Naat shreef as it was an Eid celebration, Naat shreef by following sisters Sister Hafsa Noor, Sister Saima, Sister Shaheen Akhter, Sister Shazia, Sister Amina Ishtiaq and Qasida Burda by Sister Sadia Ashraf.
Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) did tafseer from Surah Baqra from the Holy Quran followed by young girls group Pearls of Minhaj who performed Hajj Mubarak for the hajj’s who have come back and read out small Hadiths. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal played a clip of Qibla Hazoor's Durood or Salaam ki Barkat with Quran aur Hadith ki Roshni.
Sister Rukhsana Parveen MWL (Dawah and Tarbiyyah Secretary of Midlands Zone) spoke about the situation in Rohingya Burma, how our Muslim brother and sisters are being slaughtered and burnt alive. Sister Rukhsana spoke with tears in her eyes that we all need to condemn what is happening in Burma and help our sisters and brother as much as we can as winter is approaching and every penny helps. A substantial amount was collect for charity to help the people of Rohingya in Burma.
This program was concluded with zikr, dua, salaam and plenty of food for all as this was combined Eid celebration.
