MWL Birmingham holds Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations at MQI Birmingham

On the 24th of December , sister Abida Mughal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock B’ham), Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Assistant of Alum Rock B’ham), Sister Kousar Abbas MWL, Sister Najma and Sister Hurmat all held a joint mehfil, Masha Allah , celebrating  the Birth of the Beloved Holy prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH , at Minhaj-ul-Quran. There was over three hundred ladies present. May Allah Subhan WaTala bless them all and their families with health and imaan for celebrating this special occasion.

The mehfil started with recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Najma and naats by Sister; Rehana, Shaheen, Faryal, Shazia and many others.

The dawah Secretary of Alum Rock set up a book stall and also displayed the Mudd (Cup). Sister Rukhsana Iqbal showed the ladies clips of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri speaking about the Mudd and how the prophet ﷺ PBUH prayed for the Mudd to be blessed .They sold large amount of muds in a very short space of time.

The guest speakers were Sister Najma and Sister Rukhsana Parveen MWL (President of /Alum Rock B’ham). Sister Rukhsana Parveen spoke about the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal mawlid held in Lahore by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, and how Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke about how these people have not come for my sake but they have come for the sake of Allah and the love of the prophet Muhammed ﷺ  . Sister Najma spoke about the prophets mother, how she never felt pain or discomfort whilst carrying the prophet whilst pregnant and how the prophet Muhammed ﷺ is a mercy to all mankind not just Muslims.

The mawlid mehfil was concluded with a dua by Sister Najma and salaam by Sister Shazia Parveen, then food was served to all.
