On the 1st of February of 2016, Sister Rukhsana Begum MWL (Membership Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) held a durood halqa at her house in Yardley, Birmingham, with the Grace of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of his prophet Muhammad PBUH. May Allah give these sisters countless blessings for holding these mehfils and every step they take to attend these mehfils.

At the begin of this mehfil all the sisters mediated silently by reciting durood shareef for 20 minutes. Then sister Rukhsana Begum blessed the mehfil with the beautiful word from the Glorious Quran in a lovely tone, which was very touching. A naat Shareef was read by sister Shazia followed by Sister Rukhsana’s speech from the book ‘Isaal-e-Sawaab’ written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri. Sister Rukhsana read passages from this book, which talks about how we do Isaly swaab, for Shaykh Abdul Qadir Gilani on the 11th of every Islamic calendar month. We do this by reciting the Holy Quran, reading naat shareef, zikr and dua for them. Zikr was done by sister Rukhsana followed by dua and ended with salaam by sister shazia.

With the Grace of Allah Almighty and blessings of the Holy Prophet Muhammed ﷺ PBUH, Sister Sobia Bibi held a monthly Durood Halqa at her house on the 1st February 2016. May Allah Subhan WaTaala give countless blessings to all sisters who take their time out and gather together at these mehfils.

The opening of the mehfil was 20 minutes of silent meditation of durood shareef and then the mehfil began with blessed and beautiful words from the Glorious Quran by Sister Farhat, follow by Naat Shareef by Sister Asma Nasreen, and then Salutations were sent joyfully , by all the Sisters ,on the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH. Irfan-ul-Quran with translation was read by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Assistant Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) follow by a hadith from the book Kitaab-ul-Shifa written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. This mehfil was then concluded with dua by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal and salaam by Sisters Asya and Asma. Sister Rukhsana always promotes peace and harmony on behalf of Minhaj-ul-Quran and at the end of the mehfil food was served.

With the Grace of Allah Almighty, and the blessings of the Holy Prophet Muhammed ﷺ PBUH, Sister Rabia Khanam MWL (Welfare Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) held combined Grand Giyarvee Shareef and durood halqa at her house, on the 2nd February 2016, to gain the mercy of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of Shaykh Abdul Qadri Jilani (RA)

The first part of the Giyarvee shareef was for everyone to read Durood Ghousia which can take anything up to an hour, which included different durood shareefs and different surahs from the Glorious Quran, which make up the durood Ghousia and salutations were sent to our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH. This was followed by tilawat, by Sister Sadia Ashraf who read verses from the Glorious Quran, because it the most important thing revealed for Muslims, to guide them on the straight path. Then Naat Shareef by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Assistant Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham). A short speech was delivered by Sister Rukhsana Parveen MWL (President of Alum Rock Birmingham) about Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) and Giyarvee Shareef; which is about commemorating the existence of the great ‘Shaykh Abdul-Qadri Jilani’; who has been famous for centuries as the most popular and revered Saint of Islam. He was the founder of the Qadriya order, of which the organisation ‘Minhaj-Ul-Quran’ are followers of. His adherents, who know him as ‘Ghaus-e-Azam' (the highest in the hierarchy of Saints) revere him for his piety, humility, learning and gentleness of spirit. Furthermore, some of his sermons which are entitled ‘Futuh al Ghaib' are considered to be among the best pieces of Islamic literature ever written. This mehfil was concluded by dua and salaam by Sister Rabia Khanam and food was served.

On the 4th February 2016, Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham), held a durood halqa at her house, with the will of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessings of his messenger prophet Muhammad PBUH.

The first twenty minutes of this gathering consisted of silent recitation of Durood Sharif and greetings being sent to our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH. This was then followed by tilawat by Sister Asma, who read verses from the Glorious Quran, because it the most important thing revealed for Muslims, to guide them on the straight path. Then Sister Aansa read a lovely naat to praise the Prophet PBUH, followed by Sister Asma, who read Irfan-ul-Quran and tafseer. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal did a speech from the book ‘Tazkray and Sobtain’, written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The speech was about Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA), who has been famous for centuries as the most popular and revered Saint of Islam and his shrine is one of the most visited by Muslims. In his childhood, his saintly mother had always counselled him to remain truthful and honest whatever might happen, and like a dutiful son he acted upon her advice. Shaykh Abdul Qadir left his home at the age of eighteen in the pursuit of knowledge and he went to Baghdad. . He was the founder of the Qadriya order, of which the organisation ‘Minhaj-Ul-Quran’ are followers of. His adherents, who know him as ‘Ghaus-e-Azam' (the highest in the hierarchy of Saints) revere him for his piety, humility, learning and gentleness of spirit.  This mehfil was then concluded with dua and salaam by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal.

Sister Rukhsana also holds a collective Salat-Ul- Tasbeeh pray every Friday at her house with an open invitation to all ladies.

The first 20 minutes of this gathering consisted of silent recitation of durood shareef and greetings being sent to our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH. This was followed by Sister Maryam’s tilawat from the Glorious Quran and naat Shareef by Sister Badiya. A hadith Shareef was read and explained by Sister Sadia Ashraf and then a DVD was played Dast-e-Mustafa Sallallahualaihiwasallam ke Mojezat which is by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Mehfil ended with zikr, dua and salaam may Allah Subhan WaTaala bless and give baraket to all the ladies who attended. Ameen.

The first twenty minutes of this gathering consisted of silent recitation of Durood Sharif and greetings being sent to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH. This was followed by tilawat, by sister Javaria who read verses from the Glorious Quran, because it the most important book revealed to us Muslims, to guide us on the straight path. Sister Asya read a lovely naat shareef to praise the prophet PBUH, followed by Irfan-ul-Quran by Sister Javaria. A hadith shareef was read out by Sister Asya and then mehfil ended with dua and salaam by Sister Rashida.

It is an obligation for Muslims to send salutations on the prophet, so when we start a mehfil we recite durood Shareef collectively at the beginning of all mehfils. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) recited verses from the Holy Quran to bless the mehfil and continued with Irfan-ul-Quran with translations. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal also explained to them about the seerat of Hazrat Ghaus-e-Azam Jilani (RA). There was Naat Shareef’s recited by Sister Khalida, Sabira Bibi and Yasmeen and the mehfil was concluded with dua and salaam by Rukhsana Iqbal.

Sister Rukhsana Begum did a speech from the book ‘Ghaus-e-Jilani’ about the famous Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) who was a Wali of Allah Subhan WaTaala. Sister Rukhsana also played a CD ‘Allah aur Bandy Mein Rishta-e-Mohobbat’ by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Zikr and dua was done by Sister Rukhsana followed by Salaam by Sister Haleema Sadia.

On the 9th February 2016 Sister Rabia Khanam MWL (President of Alum Rock Birmingham UK) held a Durood Halqa at her house with the Grace of Allah Almighty and the blessing of Prophet MUHAMMAD ﷺ PBUH. May Allah Subhan WaTaala give Sister Rabia Khanam barakat and ajar for holding these halqats and inviting ladies to her house so that they could gain knowledge on Islam.

It is an obligation for Muslims to send salutations on the prophet, so when we start a mehfil we recite durood paak collectively at the beginning of all mehfils, so the mehfil was started in this way. Tilawat was done by Sister Maryam from the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat by Sister Rabia Khanam, who also played a DVD, by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri ‘Raza-a-llaahi Maqsad-a-Hiyaat’. Sister Rabia did a Speech on the importance of the month of Rabi-ul-Sani and Giyarvee Shareef; which is about commemorating the existence of the great ‘Shaykh Abdul-Qadri Jilani’. Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani gave lectures in Baghdad Shareef to the public, Muslims and non-Muslims would attend, as well as jinn’s to listen to him with so much passion because of the love he had for Allah and Rasool SAW. His lectures became so famous in a very short space of time that it attracted people from all parts of the world, thus making Baghdad Shareef the centre of learning and spiritualism once again. Many non-Muslims accepted Islam after listening to ‘Ghaus-e-Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani, Sister Robina Shaheen continued with zikr and concluded the mehfil with and salaam.

On the 11th of February 2016 Sister Sadia Ashraf who is an active member of Minhaj-ul-Quran, held a Durood Halqa at her house in Alum Rock Birmingham, With the Will and blessings of Allah Almighty and the best of His creation Rasool SAW. May Allah Subhan WaTaala bless these ladies, for spreading knowledge of Islam and gaining closeness of Allah SWT.

It is an obligation for Muslims to send salutations on The Prophet SAW, so when we start a Mehfil we recite Durood Shareef collectively at the beginning of all Mehfils, so the Mehfil was started, with Sister Sadia Ashraf by reciting verses from the Holy book the glorious Quran and also read out a Hadith. Sister Asmat read a beautiful Naat Shareef followed by a lecture of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir Qadri on YouTube ‘Sidq’. There are many lectures on all topics and subjects that can be found on YouTube by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri. Sister Badiya engaged everyone in a Zikr and concluded the Mehfil with an emotional Dua and Salaam.

With the Grace of Allah Almighty and blessing of the Holy Prophet Muhammed ﷺ Sister Ghulam Jannat held a Durood Halqa at her house on the 23rd February 2016 May Allah Subhan WaTaala be pleased with her.

The first 20 minutes of this gathering consisted of silent recitation of Durood Shareef and greetings being sent to our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . This was followed by Tilawat of the Glorious Quran and a Naat Shareef by Sister Asma. Irfan-ul-Quran was read with translation and tafseer by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal MWL (Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham) followed by Hadith Shareef from Minhaj-ul-Sawi on the importance of Namaz by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal as well. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal also promotes the importance of Minhaj-ul-Quran and how Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri would like everyone to live in peace and harmony. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal then concluded the mehfil with Dua and Salaam by Sisters Asiya and Asma.
