On the 3rd of October 2015, Minhaj Women League (Alum Rock) had organised a Mehfil-e-Naat to celebrate and thank Allah (SWT) on the joyous occasion of Eid ul Adha. This blessed gathering was held at the Minhaj ul Quran Birmingham.

The Mehfil commenced with the blessing of a beautiful recitation from The Glorious Quran which was recited by Sister Sadia.

Sister Rabia Khanam (Welfare Secretary) stage secretary began by warmly welcoming all those who were present and gave them a short introduction on the Mehfil e Naat. Then she kindly welcomed, one by one, the participants on stage to praise Our Beloved Prophet (SAW) in the form of naats. All read beautifully and expressed their love for the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him).

Sister Rabia also enlightened us on the Fazail o barakaat of Zikr e Ilahi and its importance and blessings.

A very spiritual Mehfil came to an end with a powerful Zikr was led by Sister Shaheen Akhtar and a heart touching dua by Sister Asia Begum and salaam by Sister Kiran. Food was served at the end.
