MWL Birmingham reflect on Ramadan
The monthly gathering at the Minhaj-ul-Quran centre was held on 5 June 2016, which was hosted by Shazia Parveen MWL (General Secretary of Alum Rock, Birmingham) and verses of the Holy Quran were recited by young Shahmir Sultan. This was followed by a few sisters including, Sister Siama and Sister Shaheen Akhter MWL (Media Secretary of Alum Rock, Birmingham) who read naats and nasheeds. A Young girls group called Noor-ul-Islam and Pearls of Minhaj read naats and enlightened the audience with some short Hadiths.
Presentation of Fatwa to Northampton Mayor
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Northampton, UK) arranged a meeting with the Honorable Mayor of Northampton, Cllr Jamie Lane, on 18th December to present the Fatwa on Terrorism & Suicide Bombings.
Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ celebrations by MQI Northampton
To Celebrate Milad Un Nabi, this year Minhaj-ul-Quran Northampton started series of Mehfil by holding 1st first Mehfil at Milton Keynes on 6th of December 2015, In attendance were President Minhaj-ul-Quran Northampton Shaykh Saif-ul-Azam ( Al-Azhari ) , Shaykh Asim Al-Azhari ( Imam Wolverton Mosque ). Haji Muhammed Tabrez Qadri, Muhammed Asadullah and Brother Shakeel Subtain were the main sana Khawan.
Northampton Muslims mark Peace campaign
Members of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International organisation, Northampton launched the much anticipated ‘Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide bombings’ for Muslims and Non Muslims living in the UK.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Northampton said the event at the Northampton academy was to mark the move “in the direction of peace and religious tolerance”.

The guests were welcomed by President MQI Northampton Allama Saif ul Azam, Nazim Dawa Allama Nazakat Hussain, Councillor Ch. Iftikhar and Fiaz Ahmed.
MWL Birmingham hold Annual Muharram program
On the 1st September 2019 Minhaj Women League of Birmingham held a Muharram program at Naseby Centre Birmingham, with the will of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of the prophet Muhammad PBUH.
This program was hosted by sister Aasia begum from Hodgehill team, who invited sister Rukhsana Iqbal (Book co-ordinater) MWL Midlands Zone for tafseer of surah Baqra ayat 58-59, followed by a naat by sister Rabyia.
MWL Nelson's Women’s Programme and Food Fest
The Women’s Programme and Food Fest, hosted by the Minhaj Women’s League Nelson, was held on Sunday the 15th of June 2014. The event took place in Silverman Hall, Pendle Street, Nelson and this venue was a large hall ideal for the purpose of a gathering of several hundred people. The MWL Nelson sisters were uniformly dressed in teal.
MWL hold Body Shrouding training workshops
On the 10th of September 2018 a Workshop was held by Birmingham Women’s Education Team regarding Ghusl (Shrouding) with the will of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.
Mehfil Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Celebrations by MQI Northampton
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Northampton UK organized a magnificent and inspiring mehfil titled “Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him)” on 26th January 2014. It was organized in the Madina Masjid Gulzar-e-Habib of Ehl-e-sunnat wal Jammat in Northampton, UK. The chief guest of the conference was a young and vibrant scholar Allama Muhammad Ramadhan Madani (Al-Azhari). The conference was presided by Allama Hafiz Nazakat Hussain Qadri (Minhaj-ul-Quran University graduate), who is wonderfully delivering as Nazim Dawah & Tarbiha MQI Northampton.

On the 02/09/18 Birmingham Minhaj Women League held Muharram program in remembrance of Ahl Al- Bayt with the will of Allah Subhan WaTaala and the blessing of the prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.
